The Story Behind Lumo
The idea for Lumo started during a particularly frustrating meeting. Our founder, Sarah, was frantically taking notes, missing half the conversation, and still forgot the key action items by the next day.
"What if I could just be present and still remember everything?" she thought. "What if technology could capture my experiences without me having to think about it?"
That question led to three years of research, prototyping, and refinement. We spoke to hundreds of knowledge workers, students, and creatives. We learned that everyone struggles with memory, but nobody wants obtrusive recording devices or privacy-invading cloud services.
So we built Lumo: glasses that look normal, process most data on-device, and feel completely natural to wear. We combined cutting-edge AI with thoughtful design to create something that genuinely improves lives.
Today, we're a team of 25 passionate engineers, designers, and privacy advocates working to bring perfect memory to everyone.
